Meet Merlin & Bruno

My name is Bruno, Merlin is my magical cat. Film photography became one of my passions in college. I spent days and days, weeks, and months in the darkroom at my university. At first, I was worried that the dark would be depressing and maybe scary, but then I found it so easy to lose time in there. After college, I got more interested in the prospect of setting up my own dark room since in Dallas darkrooms are rare and expensive. We had an extra bathroom in our apartment and so I bought and enlarger and supplies. I already teach guitar at my apartment, so I got the idea to do tours for film photography with the option of adding a darkroom experience if I ever have a storefront. I am not a team, its just me. I load film cassetes, scan negatives, invert digitally, develop film, enlarge photos, develop prints, repair cameras, and guide the tours. This is my side hustle to finance my film photography hobby. I also hope to meet people with a shared passion for freezing time on paper.
