How to order your Digital File Prints:
Basic
Since mementos and hard work are priceless, we take a lot of precautions to ensure satisfaction with our services. As a result this can be a lot to read and do. So please feel free to call (214) 931-6078 for help with instructions, filling out order forms, or to answer any questions.
If you ordered developing/scanning services for your film rolls, I will send you this form semi-completed so you can choose if you want to purchase any prints once developed/scanned. So, no further action is needed until then.
If you are sending pre-developed negatives for scanning and printing, follow the following steps.
The following link opens a google sheets form:
https://tinyurl.com/DigitalFilePrints
There are 4 pages in the document. (To navigate between sheets, click the sheet tabs in the bottom left corner).
In the first page fill out your personal and shipping details.
The second page will show you how to map your exposures so that when you say “I want 2 copies of exposure #3,” I know exactly which exposure you mean. If providing a storage device or cloud folder, make a dedicated folder with copies of your pictures and rename the files their order number starting with 1.
The 3rd sheet has a table where you can select how many copies of each exposure you want printed in 4”x6” format. Once selected, the quote for you prints will auto populate. We hope you love our transparent prices that can’t be beaten.
The 4th sheet has a table where you can select how many copies of each exposure you want printed in 8”x10” format. Once selected, the quote for you prints will auto populate. We hope you love our transparent prices that can’t be beaten.
Once filled out, print out your order form.

For cloud folders, please share access to the email digitalfolders@merlinslens.com. Please dont put your only copy of your pictures, I will keep folders for 6 months, just in case, you can’t find your files. You can also request to delete them, if you already know you have them.
If you ordered developing/scanning services for your film rolls, follow the following steps
I am currently looking for areas in DFW that will allow me to put a film collection box, for future convenience.
For now, you can send your film by mail, but please take some precautions.
Some packages are scanned with X-rays if the mail provider flags it as a risk. X-rays can damage film even ruin it. The likelihood of a domestic small package getting flagged is low, but we can take steps to make it safer for your film.
Use a clean package that has room to write on where it would be easy to see.
If your film came in a container, please send it in the container and in a plastic bag. This is to protect against any liquid that might spill on the package.
On the package, write “Photographic film - DO NOT X-ray. Please check by hand. For any questions, call (214) 931-6078.”
Tape on the pre-made shipping label.
Wherever you drop it off, tell the clerk what is in the package and be as detailed as possible.
As previously stated, the risk to your film should be low, but pictures are precious so all steps should be taken to ensure the safety of your film.
If not using a pre-made label, the address for the film drop-off is:
Merlin’s Lens
819 W Arapaho Rd. STE 24 B
Richardson, TX 75080
Get Excited
Once I have received your negatives or digital files and form, I will email you to confirm I have them. In the confirmation, I will re-state the selected exposures to confirm. I will print your negatives and send them back. Usually a 1 week turnaround after receiving plus shipping back to you, but if possible sooner I will do my best to make be sooner. We are a new small business with a staff of one, so delays can happen, but if anything is delayed or goes wrong in any way, we will make a sincere effort to thank you for your patience.
